Richard Gary Brautigan (Tacoma, Washington, 1935eko urtarrilaren 30a - Bolinas, Kalifornia, c. 1984ko irailaren 14a) estatubatuar idazlea izan zen.

1954an hasi zuen ibilbide literarioa, poema liburu batekin, eta 1964an argitaratu zuen lehen eleberria. Hamar eleberri, bi ipuin bilduma eta lau poesia liburu argitaratu zituen.
