Alberto I.a Belgikakoa (Brusela, 1875eko apirilaren 8a - Marche-les-Dames, Namur, Belgika, 1934ko otsailaren 17a) belgikarren erregea izan zen 1909-1934 bitartean.

Bizitza

Filipe Flandesko kondearen eta Marie Hohenzollern-Sigmaringengoaren semea, eta Leopoldo I.a Belgikakoaren biloba zen. 1900ean, Elisabet Bavariakoarekin ezkondu zen. 1909ko abenduaren 17an, Leopoldo II.a erregea hil ondoren, Belgikako tronua oinordetu zuen. Armadako buru gorena izan zen, eta berak zuzendu zituen belgikar tropak Lehen Mundu Gerran; ospe handia eman zion horrek.^[1]

Kirolzale handia izaki, mendi igoera batean hil zen 1934an, istripu baten ondorioz. Laekengo elizako (Brusela) errege-panteoian lurperatu zuten. Haren seme Leopoldo izan zen ondorengoa.

Ezkontza eta seme-alabak

1900eko urriaren 2an, Elisabet Bavariakoa dukesarekin ezkondu zen Bavarian. Karl-Theodor Bavariako dukearen eta Maria Josefa Portugalgoaren alaba zen Elisabet. Hiru seme-alaba izan zituzten

• Leopoldo, belgikarren erregea 1934-1951 bitartean. 1901eko azaroaren 3an jaio eta 1983ko irailaren 25ean hil zen Woluwe-Saint-Lamberten.
• Karlos, Flandeseko kondea, Belgikako printzea, Belgikako erregeordea; Bruselan jaio zen 1903ko urriaren 10ean, eta Ostenden hil zen 1983ko ekainaren 1ean.
• Maria Josefa, Belgikako printzesa; Ostenden jaio zen 1906ko abuztuaren 4an. Erroman ezkondu zen 1930eko urtarrilaren 8an Humberto Nikolas Tomasso Piemonteko printzearekin, gerora, Humberto II.a Italiakoa izan zena. Maria Josefa 2001eko urtarrilaren 27an hil zen.
