Mark Kurlansky (Hartford, 1948ko abenduaren 7a - ) kazetari eta idazle estatubatuarra da, elikagaien historian aditua.

Biografia

Kurlanskyk Arte Ederrak ikasi zituen Butler Unibertsitatean. Hala ere, kazetari bilkatu eta Mendebaldeko Europako berriemaile bihurtu zen Miami Herald, The Philadelphia Inquirer edo International Herald Tribune egunkarientzako. 1982an Mexikora joan zen bizitzera eta idazteari ekin zion. 1992an A Continent of Islands bere lehendabiziko liburua argitaratu arren, 1997an Cod argitaratu arte ez zuen bestseller bat lortu.
