Abdullah II.a Jordaniakoa edo Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein Ammanen jaio zen 1962ko urtarrilaren 30ean, eta Jordaniako Haxemi Erresumako monarka da. Aita zuen Hussein I.a 1999ko otsailaren 7an hil zenez geroztik gobernatu du.

Biografia

Ammanen jaio zen, eta Hussein I.aren eta bere bigarren emazte Muna al-Hussein (jaiotza-izena: Antoinette Avril Gardiner) printzesaren semea da. Lehen ikasketak Ammanen egin bazituen ere, Ingalaterran eta AEBetan egin zituen gainerako ikasketak.

Abdullah 1999ko otsailean tronuratu zen, bere aita hil zenean. Hil aurreko egunetan Hussein I.ak printze oinordeko izendatu zuen, ordura arte, 1965az geroztik, El Hassan bin Talal Husseinen anaiak zuena. Erabakia ez zuten herritarrek oso ondo hartu. Abdullah-ren ama britainiarra zen, eta Jordaniako pertsona askok ez zuten ongi ikusten Abdullah errege haxemi izatea. Haxemiek Mahoma profetaren zuzeneko ondorengoak dira. Abdullah bera Mahomaren ondorengo 43. generaziokoa da.
