Virginia City je američki vestern film snimljen 1940. u režiji Michaela Curtiza. Radnja se događa za vrijeme američkog građanskog rata, a protagonist, čiji lik tumači Errol Flynn, je sjevernjački oficir koji odlazi u Nevadu, odnosno grad Virginia City kako bi spriječio da južnjački simpatizeri i špijuni srebro iz tamošnjih rudnika pošalju u južnjačke države.

Jedan od likova, koga u filmu tumači Humphrey Bogart, je legendarni odmetnik John Murrell, iako se historijska ličnost umrla dvadesetak godina prije građanskog rata.

Film je svečanu premijeru imao u samom gradu Virginia City.
