Kolossblekksprut (Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni) er den største blekkspruten og det største virvelløse dyret man kjenner til. Den er 12–14 meter lang og tyngre enn kjempeblekkspruten. Den har det største nebbet av alle blekkspruter og de største øynene i hele dyreriket. Den lever i havene rundt Antarktis. I IUCNs liste er den livskraftig. Fiskere fra New Zealand fanget den største kolossblekkspruten i verden den 22. februar 2007. Den har mange kroker i de to lengste tentaklene. Spermhvaler spiser kolossblekkspruter og kjempeblekkspruter. Kjempeblekkspruter har kun sugekopper, mens kolossblekkspruten i tillegg har kroker.
