Athanasius I dari Iskandariah[note 1] (s. 296–298 – 2 Mei 373), juga dipanggil Athanasius sang Agung, Athanasius sang Pengaku, atau, di kalangan Kristian Qibti, Athanasius sang Kerasulan, dululah seorang ahli teologi Kristian dan ke-20 paus Iskandariah (sebagai Athanasius I). Keuskupannya yang terputus-putus berlangsung selama 45 tahun (sekitar 8 Jun 328 – 2 Mei 373), di mana lebih 17 daripadanya merangkumi lima pembuangan, apabila beliau digantikan atas perintah empat maharaja Rom yang berbeza.
