Ælfwald (bahasa Inggris Kuno: Alfƿold) adalah Raja Anglia Timur dari 713^[1] hingga kematiannya pada 749. Dia adalah putra pendahulunya Raja Ealdwulf. Pemerintahannya selama tiga puluh enam tahun sangat lama pada waktu itu, tetapi seperti ayahandanya (yang telah bertakhta selama sekitar lima puluh tahun), ia tampaknya tidak mengetahui peristiwa penting apa pun, yang mungkin mencerminkan periode perdamaian dan kemakmuran bagi kerajaan. Masih ada surat dari Ælfwald ke Bonifasius, mungkin berasal dari tahun-tahun terakhir pemerintahannya.

Ælfwald adalah anggota terakhir yang diketahui dari wangsa Wuffinga. Setelah kematiannya, kerajaan tampaknya telah dibagi, pada masa suram, antara tiga raja yang tidak diketahui asal-usulnya^[2]: Hun, Beorna dan Albert^[3].
