Transformers: Robots in Disguise (Transformers: Car Robots) on japanilainen animesarja, jonka tuottivat NAS ja TV Tokyo. Animoinnista vastasi Studio Gallop. Sarjan oli alun perin tarkoitus kestää yhteensä 52 jaksoa, mutta Takaran rahoitusongelmien vuoksi sarja päättyi vuonna 2000, 39 jaksoon.[1] Sarja oli omanlaisensa Transformers-universumi, eikä liittynyt mitenkään The Transformersiin tai Transformers: Armadaan.
Tarina
Ilkeä rotu muuntautuvia robotteja, jotka tunnetaan nimellä Predaconit, saapuvat New York Cityyn siepatakseen professori Onishin, joka on maailmankuulu tiedemies. Professorin poika Koji ja eräs toinen rotu muuntautuvia robotteja nimeltä Autobotit yrittävät Optimus Primen johdolla pelastaa professorin ja suojella maapalloa Megatronin raivolta.
