Ashwath Bhatt is an Indian film actor. He is known for his roles in IB71,[1] Mission Majnu,[2] Sita Ramam, Raaz Reboot, Rakkhosh, Raazi[3] Phantom, Kesari,[4] and Haider.[5][6]

Early life

Ashwath Bhatt was born in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India into a Kashmiri Pandits family.[7] He received a scholarship from the National School of Drama (NSD) in 2001. In 2003, he graduated from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Hammersmith, London.[8]

Career

Bhatt made his Bollywood debut with the film Lamhaa: The Untold Story of Kashmir[9] in 2010. He followed this with another Bollywood role in Meghna Gulzar's Raaz[10]i[8][11] alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. In 2019, he played alongside Akshay Kumar in Anurag Singh's Kesari. In 2023, he played in Mandali[12]
